Prayer is Powerful !!!

Dear Tim F,

Thanks very much for praying for me on Saturday. I was having a high fever from Thurs nite (38.9 degrees), and the worst headache in my life! I was lying in bed for almost 3 whole days, fighting this virus which refused to go away. Thank God that on Sunday morning, the fever finally subsided and the headache gone! I strongly believe this is the result of all your prayers.

On Sunday afternoon, I took Aizhen's advice and listened to some Christian music. And in the quietness, I believe I heard God's voice saying to me, "Cease from activity. Be still and know that I am God." It took an illness which immobilised me at home, for God to grab my attention! I had been rushing about, stressed and tired out, until God had to tell me to stop! All I need and should be doing is to turn to Him and rely on Him completely, totally. He is our Refuge and Strength. He is our Sovereign Lord, the God who is in control. Let go, and let God be God.

p.s - thanks Zhiren, Liangwen & Jingxuan for visiting my dad in hospital (based on my mum's description, i think it was the 3 of you), and also Esther for all your encouragement =)
