The thoughts and ideas we program into our brain have an effect on us. They influence and produce who we truly become as people. If we listen to, meditate upon, and repeat words that are evil, our thoughts will become evil. Thoughts soon lead to words and words to actions.


3 points to note:


1. Rock Music, like money, is neutral, like a knief: can carve vegetables(do good) or kill(destory).

2. Know that when it first came, it tends to destroy than to do good...
so be careful...
even now... a significant of them esp Heavy Metal Rock...pretty scary still

(look at the packaging, lyrics and open declaration of the artists behind them)

(attractive coz it expresses ur feeling very well... but make u indulge in problem n may offer solution like free sex, drugs, violence, or other heck care attitute aka anti-social behavior)

3. Every music convey a message.
Rock artists particularly like to use it to preach (social issues, even Christianity!!)

so, there are good contemporary/rock Christian music too,
look out for:

2nd Chapter of Acts, KeithGreen, Karen Lafferty, Chuck Girard

Amy Grant, Gary Chapman, Brown Bannister, Kathy Tricolli, Steve and Annie Chapman...

Sandy Patty, Steve Green, Bill and Gloria Gaither ...


so enjoy your music... just don't feed your mind with garbage!!!
